Don't you hate when the school calls in the middle of the day!

The school nurse called.  She said Annelise had taken a fall and bit through her cheek.  I said, "You mean she bit through inside of her mouth?"  She said, "And the outside too, she needs to be seen somewhere."   Thank God Ben was near.  He picked her up and took her to Urgent Care.

She is doing fine.  Her braces did the damage to the inside (and outside) of her mouth.  The outside of her face was only cut a little bit.  There is a small slice on her cheek.  The inside of her mouth has most of the damage.  Like Jonah's tongue (remember that?) it should heal quickly and on it's own.  No stitches needed.
She is just going to have a pretty sore mouth for a couple of days.  Lots of ice cream and popsicles for her!!
