Pumpkins

This last weekend we went to a big pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. This place was was so fun! It's a patch that Del Monte plants around their other veggies.....I heard it helps keep bugs away from their other crop???? Anyway, there are some people that come with permission from word of mouth....but basically it's many acres of unpicked pumpkins! Big pumpkins, little pumpkins, fat ones, tall ones......they were all there! AND FREE! We came home with about 15 pumpkins....we would have had more if Ben didn't cut the girls off! It was really fun! We were joined by The Stees Family. They have become good friends of ours and they too have a tie to Galesburg. Mark went to Med school with John Watson and they stood up with eachother when they wed. WHAT A SMALL WORLD! After picking we came home to carve the pumpkins.
